Development
Our design philosophy is simple - to deliver quality work which enhances your reputation and brings new customers. All our sites are largely hand coded and pass W3C validation for maximum visibility and success with the search engines.
We provide previews throughout development for you to directly assess and direct the design, using a system which provides an excellent representation of the final page at an early stage.
Our high standards don't come with a high price tag either. We're competitive in all areas from bespoke php development to startup websites.
If you already have a website, we hope you'll find the W3C validation note below interesting. We can advise you what to do if your site fails; and by way of a starter many pages have hundreds of coding errors, with about 800 being the worst case seen so far. Or maybe you know better...
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
We always provide highly readable and navigable sites that are fully optimised to help the search engines find your site. We can provide several schemes which will bring you extra traffic or traffic faster than you might otherwise expect, depending upon your budget.
Databases, PHP coding and CMS
We have developed a number of advanced database driven sites using the mySql database and PHP code. These also include Content Management Systems (CMS) to allow clients to update their own pages.
Hosting
The server is running the ubiquitous Unix / Apache combination, used on two thirds of all web servers world wide and is equipped with various 
utilities including PERL, PHP and mySql. We deliver a complete range of Internet services, and have a wealth of experience to provide the service you need.
W3C Validation - the technical stuff
Few developers and even fewer clients appreciate the significance of correct and clean coding, a situation made worse by a well known supplier's cavalier attitude towards standards which aren't their own - only finally corrected in the latest v8.
Standards based sites built using the latest techniques perform consistently across browsers, load faster and significantly, are more easily interpreted by reading systems other than the human eye - such as search engines, crawlers, screen readers and translators. Since the Search Engine is the most common use of the web it pays to ensure your site is as easily understood as possible.
Sites developed by us can be found easily on the internet using the common search engines and relevant search phrases - they readily appear on the first page of Google or Altavista, often at the No 1 position. We build search engine friendly sites which are also disability friendly. so if your site doesn't pass the W3C validator (right click for new window) you're missing out on the best search engine results.

Standards Based Site Design Working to standards is no more expensive or difficult (once you know how to do it...) than the more common approaches to site construction. If you'd like to know more please call and we'll send our chap along to tell you all about it...Disability Discrimination Act The DDA does apply to websites so there is a possibility that you could be sued if a reader with some disability can't properly interpret your site's content. However, it should also be noted that there are no cases on record in this country! There's currently no penalty for building a site that passes the validator... Dedicated Web server
